With the Introduction of the Biometric System, a New Era of Digitalisation Begins in Armenia: HayPass Opens Its Second Office in Yerevan

On 31 October, the official opening ceremony of HayPass’s new office took place at Mega Mall, with Arpine Sargsyan, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, in attendance.

The event was also attended by Johannes Luchner, Deputy Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs, and Jan Hagen, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of IN Groupe.

Nelli Davtyan, Head of the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and Régis Bouchier, Head of HayPass, cut the symbolic ribbon.

Régis Bouchier presented the office’s operations, the services provided and the facilities and conditions provided for serving citizens. The attendees toured the premises, familiarising themselves with the procedures for providing services.

“Through our joint efforts, an entirely new system has been introduced, designed to improve the quality of services provided to citizens of the Republic of Armenia. In doing so, we are reshaping the service culture, placing emphasis on the clarity of processes and data security at every stage,” emphasised Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan.

The opening of the new office is another step towards bringing services closer to citizens, providing them in a convenient environment and an accessible format.
