Ավստրիայի մայրաքաղաք Վիեննայում ընթացող ՄԱԿ-ի Թմրամիջոցների հարցերով հանձնաժողովի 68-րդ նստաշրջանի ընթացքում Հայաստանի նախաձեռնությամբ կազմակերպվել է հարակից միջոցառում՝ թմրանյութերի ապօրինի շրջանառության դեմ պայքարի թեմայի շրջանակներում։

ՆԳ նախարարի տեղակալ Արմեն Ղազարյանն իր ելույթում անդրադարձել է թմրանյութերի դեմ պայքարի ուղղությամբ մշակված ռազմավարությանը, կարևորելով, մասնավորապես, դրա գործնական կողմերը։ Նա մատնանշել է այն քայլերը, որոնք անհրաժեշտ են քաղաքականության արդյունավետ իրականացման համար։

Արմեն Ղազարյանի խոսքով՝ ռազմավարությունն ընդգրկում է իրավապահ մարմինների պատշաճ տեխնիկական վերազինումը, միջազգային լավագույն փորձի տեղայնացումը, հանրային իրազեկումները, ինչպես նաև առողջապահական համակարգի հետ փոխգործակցությունը։

Ծավալվել է ակտիվ քննարկում, մասնակիցներին հուզող հարցերին տրվել են պատասխաններ։

Active steps are being taken in the fight against drugs. On Armenia’s initiative a side event has been organized in Vienna

During the 68th session of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs held in the capital of Austria Vienna a side event was organized on Armenia’s initiative in the framework of combating the fight against illicit drug trafficking.

In his speech the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Armen Ghazaryan addressed the strategy developed to combat drugs trafficking emphasizing, in particular, its practical aspects. He pointed out the steps necessary for the effective implementation of the policy.
According to Armen Ghazaryan, the strategy includes the proper technical re-equipment of law enforcement agencies, the localization of international best practices, public awareness campaigns, as well as cooperation with the healthcare system.
An active discussion took place, and answers were provided to the questions of the participants.
