Նոյեմբերի 5-ին Հայաստան կատարած այցի ընթացում Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի Միգրացիայի և ներքին գործերի գլխավոր տնօրենի տեղակալ Յոհաննես Լուխները Վիզաների ազատականացման շուրջ երկխոսության հարցերով հայկական կողմի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյա, ՀՀ ներքին գործերի նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանին է հանձնել ՀՀ-ԵՄ վիզաների ազատականացման գործողությունների ծրագիրը։
Հանձնման արարողությունը տեղի է ունեցել ՀՀ փոխվարչապետ Մհեր Գրիգորյանի ներկայությամբ։
Վիզաների ազատականացման շուրջ երկխոսության հարցերով հայկական կողմի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյա, ՀՀ ներքին գործերի նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանը, ստանալով փաստաթուղթը, նշել է, որ այն Հայաստանի և Եվրոպական Միության գործընկերության կարևոր փուլ է և արդեն ձևավորել է լայն հանրային ուշադրություն ու ակնկալիքներ։
Կողմերը գոհունակությամբ ընդգծել են այս ուղղությամբ մինչ օրս գրանցած առաջընթացը և փաստել, որ ԵՄ վիզաների ազատականացման գործողությունների ծրագրի պաշտոնական հանձնումը երկկողմ իրական ջանքերի ապացույցն է։
Վերահաստատվել է հայկական կողմի հանձնառությունը ծրագրով նախատեսված միջոցառումների իրականացմանը, որի վերջնարդյունքը ՀՀ քաղաքացիների համար Եվրոպական Միություն արժանապատիվ, անվտանգ և դյուրին ճամփորդության հնարավորությունների ապահովումն է։
Միջոցառումից հետո Լուխներն ու Սարգսյանը հանդես են եկել ասուլիսով և պատասխանել լրագրողների հարցերին։
EU hands over the Visa Liberalization Action Plan to Armenia
On November 5, Johannes Luchner, the Deputy Director-General for Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs of the European Commission during his visit to Armenia officially handed over the EU-Armenia Visa Liberalization Action Plan to Arpine Sargsyan, and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, and Senior Official for the Visa Liberalisation Dialogue on the Armenian side․
The handover ceremony was held in the presence of Mher Grigoryan, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
Arpine Sargsyan, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, and Senior Official for the Visa Liberalisation Dialogue on the Armenian side upon receiving the document, noted that it marks an important phase in the Armenia-EU partnership and had already generated significant public attention and expectations.The parties positively highlighted the progress achieved in this regard so far and noted that the official handover of the EU Visa Liberalization Action Plan is a testament to the joint efforts undertaken by both sides.
The commitment of the Armenian side to implement the measures outlined in the Action Plan was reaffirmed, with the ultimate purpose of ensuring dignified, safe and facilitated travel opportunities to the European Union for Armenian citizens.
Following the event, Luchner and Sargsyan held a press conference and answered the questions of the journalists.
