ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանը փետրվարի 26-ին ընդունել է Հայաստանում Եվրոպական Միության պատվիրակության ղեկավար Վասիլիս Մարագոսին։

Արփինե Սարգսյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Եվրոպական Միությանը՝ ՆԳ նախարարությունում և ենթակա ծառայություններում ընթացող բարեփոխումներին ցուցաբերվող գործուն աջակցության համար։

Վասիլիս Մարագոսը կարևորելով ՆԳ նախարարության հետ արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը՝ նշել է, որ ԵՄ-ն պատրաստ է շարունակել ու ընդլայնել աջակցությունը բարեփոխումների գործընթացին։

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել ՆԳ նախարարության և ենթակա ծառայությունների բարեփոխումների ընթացքին, արձանագրված արդյունքներին, համատեղ պլանավորվող նոր քայլերին։

ԵՄ դեսպանը բարձր է գնահատել վիզաների ազատականացման առաջին գնահատման առաքելության հետ կատարված համատեղ աշխատանքները, ինչպես կազմակերպչական, այնպես էլ բովանդակային մասով։ Ուրվագծվել են նաև երկրորդ գնահատման առաքելությանն ընդառաջ կատարվելիք գործողությունները։

Հանդիպման ավարտին կողմերը նախանշել են համագործակցության հետագա ուղղությունները և առաջիկա անելիքները, որոնք միտված են շարունակելու բարեփոխումների արդյունավետ իրականացումը։

The Minister of Internal Affairs and the Head of the EU Delegation outlined the upcoming steps towards liberalization of visas
On February 26, the Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan received the Head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia Vassilis Maragos.
Arpine Sargsyan expressed gratitude to the European Union for its active support for the ongoing reforms in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and subordinate bodies.
Vassilis Maragos, highlighting the importance of effective cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, stated that the EU is ready to continue and expand its support for the reform process.
The process of reforms of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and subordinate bodies, the recorded results, and new joint steps were discussed.
The EU Ambassador highly appreciated the joint work carried out with the first mission for the assessment of liberalization of visas both in terms of organization and content.
The actions to be taken in preparation for the second assessment mission were also outlined.
At the end of the meeting, the parties outlined further directions of cooperation and upcoming actions aimed at continuing the effective implementation of reforms.
