Հուլիսի 3-ին ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանը, Եվրոպական միության պատվիրակության ղեկավար, արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Վասիլիս Մարագոսի և ԵՄ անդամ երկրների դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչությունների ղեկավարների հետ, շրջայց է կատարել ՆԳՆ ոստիկանության Պարեկային ծառայության և Օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոնի նորակառույց վարչական համալիրում։
Շրջայցի ընթացքում նրանց են ներկայացվել համալիրի շենքային պայմաններն ու ֆունկցիոնալ հնարավորությունները։
ԵՄ երկրների դեսպանների հետ հանդիպմանը Արփինե Սարգսյանը ներկայացրել է ՆԳՆ կայացման և բարեփոխումների վերաբերյալ իրականացված մեծածավալ աշխատանքը։ Նա մասնավորապես անդրադարձել է ոստիկանության բարեփոխումներին՝ առանձնացնելով հատկապես հենասյունային չորս ուղղությունների ձևավորման ու կայացման գործընթացները։
ՆԳ նախարարն անդրադարձել է ԵՄ վիզաների ազատականացման երկխոսության շրջանակում վերջերս Բրյուսել կատարած այցին, ներկայացրել իր տպավորությունները, կայացած պայմանավորվածություններն ու պատրաստակամություն հայտնել շարունակել ինտենսիվ համագործակցությունը ինչպես ԵՄ վիզաների ազատականացման, այնպես էլ մի շարք այլ ուղղություններով։
ՆԳ նախարարի տեղակալ Արմեն Ղազարյանը ներկայացրել է ԵՄ վիզաների ազատականացման շրջանակում երկու առաքելությունների հետ հանդիպունմների ընթացքում ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունները և այդ ուղղությամբ նախանշված գործողությունները։
Հանդիպմանը նշվել է, որ այս տարվա աշնանը պատրաստ կլինի ԵՄ վիզաների ազատականացման գործողությունների ծրագիրը հստակ չափորոշիչներով։
ԵՄ երկրների դեսպանները դրական են գնահատել և մեծ տպավորությամբ են արձանագրել կատարված բարեփոխումները՝ դրանք անվանելով վառ օրինակ այլ ոլորտներում հաջողակ բարեփոխումների համար։
Դեսպանները հարցեր են ուղղել ՆԳ նախարարին ճանապարհային անվտանգության, միասնական զանգերի կենտրոնի ձևավորման, ոստիկանությունում կանանց ներգրավվածության խթանման և այլ թիրախային ուղղությունների վերաբերյալ։
Վասիլիս Մարագոսը դեսպանների անունից շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ընդունելության, շրջայցի և արդյունավետ համագործակցության համար՝ վերահաստատելով այն շարունակելու հանձնառությունը։
The Ambassadors of EU Member States Express Strong Support for Reforms at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Minister of Internal Affairs held a meeting with the Ambassadors
On July 3, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan, together with the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Vassilis Maragos, and the heads of diplomatic missions of EU member states, visited the newly constructed administrative complex of the Patrol Service and the Operational Management Center of the Police under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the visit, the guests were introduced to the building’s infrastructure and the functional capabilities of the complex.
In a subsequent meeting with the ambassadors of EU member states, Minister Sargsyan presented the extensive work carried out as part of the institutional development and reform processes within the Ministry. She placed particular emphasis on the ongoing police reform, outlining the formation and consolidation of its four strategic pillars.
The Minister also spoke about her recent visit to Brussels within the framework of the EU visa liberalization dialogue. She shared her impressions, presented the agreements reached, and expressed her willingness to continue intensive cooperation both in the EU visa liberalization process and in several other areas.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Armen Ghazaryan, presented the outcomes of meetings held with two EU missions related to the visa liberalization process. He detailed the agreements reached and outlined the forthcoming actions in this direction.
It was noted during the meeting that the EU visa liberalization action plan, with clearly defined criteria, is expected to be finalized by autumn of this year.
The ambassadors of EU member states commended the reforms implemented, expressing strong appreciation and describing them as a compelling example of successful reform that could be replicated in other areas.
The ambassadors also raised questions to the Minister regarding road safety, the development of a unified emergency call center, the promotion of women’s involvement in the police, and other targeted areas.
On behalf of the ambassadors, Vassilis Maragos expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and the effective cooperation, reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening the partnership.
