Մայիսի 20-ին ՀՀ ներքին գործերի նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանն ընդունել է Հայաստանում Իսպանիայի Թագավորության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ռիկարդո Մարտինես Վասկեսին։
Նախարարը ողջունելով դեսպանին՝ կարևորել է երկկողմ, ինչպես և ԵՄ շրջանակներում առկա համագործակցությունը։ Արփինե Սարգսյանը ներկայացրել է ՆԳ նախարարության կայացման, ինչպես նաև ենթակա ծառայություններում ընթացող բարեփոխումների ընթացքը։ Այդ համատեքստում նախարար Սարգսյանը նշել է, որ մի շարք դեպքերում որպես ուղեցույց կիրառվում է հենց Իսպանիայի փորձը՝ ոլորտային բարեփոխումների իրականացման ժամանակ։
Դեսպան Վասկեսը, իր հերթին, շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար, ընդգծել է իր պատրաստակամությունը՝ խորացնելու և ընդլայնելու երկկողմ համագործակցությունը մի շարք ոլորտներում։
Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են ԵՄ վիզաների ազատականացման գործընթացի զարգացումները, ոստիկանության համակարգում իրականացվող բարեփոխումները, ինչպես նաև քաղպաշտպանության և փրկարար ծառայության արդիականացմանը վերաբերող հարցեր։
Կողմերը վերահաստատել են փոխգործակցության շարունակականության կարևորությունը և պայմանավորվել համատեղ աշխատանքներ իրականացնել՝ ընդլայնելու երկկողմ համագործակցության ուղղությունները՝ ի շահ երկու պետությունների։
Cooperation will expand and include new areas: The Minister of Internal Affairs received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain
On May 20, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Sargsyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to Armenia Ricardo Martinez Vazquez.
Welcoming the Ambassador, the Minister highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation, as well as collaboration within the framework of the EU. Arpine Sargsyan presented the development of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the progress of ongoing reforms within its subordinate services. In this context, Minister Sargsyan noted that in a number of cases Spain’s experience served as a model in the implementation of sectoral reforms.
The Ambassador Vazquez in his turn expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized his readiness to deepen and expand bilateral cooperation in various areas.
During the meeting developments connected to the EU visa liberalization process were discussed, in particular the reforms being implemented in the Police system, as well as those related to the modernization of the Civil protection system and Rescue Service.
The parties reaffirmed the importance of continuing cooperation and agreed to undertake joint efforts to expand the areas of bilateral collaboration for the benefit of both countries.
