Հուլիսի 21-ին Թբիլիսի կատարած երկօրյա աշխատանքային այցի շրջանակներում ՀՀ ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանը հանդիպում է ունեցել Վրաստանի վարչապետ Իրակլի Կոբախիձեի հետ։
Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են Վրաստանի ՆԳ նախարար Գելա Գելաձեն և Վրաստանում ՀՀ դեսպան Աշոտ Սմբատյանը։
Կողմերը կարևորել են Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի բարեկամական ու բարիդրացիական հարաբերությունները, ինչպես նաև երկու հարևան պետությունների իրավապահ մարմինների սերտ ու արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը։
Ընդգծվել է Հարավային Կովկասում կայուն խաղաղության բացառիկ կարևորությունը։
Այս համատեքստում Վրաստանի վարչապետը դրական է գնահատել Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղության համաձայնագրի տեքստի շուրջ բանակցությունների ավարտը և հույս հայտնել, որ փաստաթուղթը մոտ ապագայում կստորագրվի։
Իրակլի Կոբախիձեն վերահաստատել է Վրաստանի կառավարության պատրաստակամությունը՝ ապագայում ևս նպաստելու երկխոսությանը և տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության ու կայունության ապահովմանը։
During her working visit to Tbilisi, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia (RA), Arpine Sargsyan, met with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze
On July 21, within the framework of her two-day working visit to Tbilisi, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Arpine Sargsyan, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.
The meeting was also attended by Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Gela Geladze, and the Ambassador of Armenia to Georgia, Ashot Smbatyan. The parties emphasized the importance of the friendly and good-neighborly relations between Armenia and Georgia, as well as the close and effective cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two neighboring countries.
The exceptional importance of lasting peace in the South Caucasus was also highlighted. In this context, the Prime Minister of Georgia welcomed the conclusion of negotiations on the text of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and expressed hope that the document will be signed in the near future.
Irakli Kobakhidze reaffirmed the Georgian Government’s commitment to further supporting dialogue and promoting peace and stability in the region.
