ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանը հոկտեմբերի 15-ին ընդունել է ՀՀ-ում Շվեդիայի Թագավորության նորանշանակ դեսպան Էվա Սունդքուիսին։

Նախարարը նշանակման կապակցությամբ շնորհավորել է արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպանին և մաղթել արդյունավետ աշխատանք։ Բարձր գնահատելով երկկողմ ակտիվ համագործակցությունը՝ Արփինե Սարգսյանը նշել է, որ այն ընդգրկում է Ներքին գործերի նախարարության մանդատի շրջանակում տարբեր ուղղություններ։

Անդրադառնալով միգրացիոն կառավարման և ոստիկանության ոլորտներում գրանցված արդյունքներին՝ նախարար Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է վիզաների ազատականացման ուղղությամբ ձեռքբերումներն ու բանակցային ոստիկանության կայացման ուղղությամբ աշխատանքները։

Դեսպան Էվա Սունդքուիսը շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ընդունելության համար՝ նշել է, որ Հայաստանը առանձնահատուկ տեղ ունի Շվեդիայի Թագավորության արտաքին քաղաքական օրակարգում։ Ներկայացնելով ընթացիկ ծրագրերը՝ դեսպանը պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել ամրապնդել համագործակցությունը։

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել «Ամրապնդելով միգրացիայի կառավարումը և ինտեգրացիան» ծրագրի մեկնարկին։ Քննարկվել են միգրացիոն հոսքերի արդյունավետ կառավարման ուղղությամբ Հայաստանի կողմից իրականացվող քայլերը, բիոմետրիկ համակարգի ներդրման և այլ հարցեր։

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև միասնական զանգերի կենտրոնի ստեղծման գործընթացին․ նշվել է, որ ընթացիկ տարում կմիավորվեն Փրկարար ծառայության և Ոստիկանության, իսկ 2026 թվականին նաև Շտապօգնության զանգերը։ Այս համատեքստում կարևորվել է նաև շվեդական փորձը։

Քննարկվել են նաև համագործակցության ընդլայնման հնարավորությունները, այդ թվում՝ Շվեդիայի քաղաքացիական արտակարգ իրավիճակների գործակալության միջոցով աղետների ռիսկի կառավարման ոլորտում փորձի փոխանակման ուղղությամբ նախատեսվող քայլերը։

Կողմերն ընդգծել են համագործակցությունը շարունակելու պատրաստակամությունը՝ ուղղված համատեղ ծրագրերի արդյունավետ իրականացմանը։

Cooperation with the Kingdom of Sweden will encompass new directions: The Minister of Internal Affairs received the newly appointed Ambassador

On October 15, the Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Armenia, Eva Sundqvist.
The Minister congratulated the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador on her appointment and wished her fruitful work. Highly appreciating the active bilateral cooperation, Arpine Sargsyan noted that it encompasses various areas within the mandate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Referring to the achievements recorded in the fields of migration management and policing, Minister Sargsyan highlighted the progress made towards visa liberalization and the ongoing efforts aimed at the development of a negotiation-based policing model.
Expressing her gratitude for the reception, Ambassador Eva Sundqvist noted that Armenia holds a special place in the foreign policy agenda of the Kingdom of Sweden. Presenting the current programs, the Ambassador expressed her readiness to further strengthen cooperation.

Reference was made to the launch of the “Strengthening Migration Management and Integration” program. The discussions focused on the measures undertaken by Armenia to ensure effective management of migration flows, the implementation of the biometric system, and other related issues.

Reference was also made to the process of creating a unified call center: it was noted that this year, the calls of the Rescue Service and the Police will be unified, and in 2026, the calls of the Ambulance Service will also be unified. In this context, the importance of the Swedish experience was also emphasized.
The discussions also covered the possibilities for expanding cooperation, including the planned steps for exchanging experience in the field of disaster risk management through the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency.
The parties emphasized their readiness to continue cooperation aimed at the effective implementation of joint programs.
