Սեպտեմբերի 25-ին ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանն ընդունել է Հայաստանում Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ֆլորիան Էսկյուդիեին։ Նախարարը շնորհավորել է դեսպանին նշանակման կապակցությամբ, հաջողություններ մաղթել և վստահություն հայտնել, որ առկա սերտ համագործակցությունը կշարունակի զարգանալ՝ ընդգրկելով նոր ուղղություններ։
Կողմերն ընդգծել են Հայաստանի և Ֆրանսիայի բարեկամական ու ռազմավարական հարաբերությունների կարևորությունը։
Քննարկվել են ծառայողների վերապատրաստման, քաղաքացիական պաշտպանության, անօրինական միգրացիայի և կիբեռհանցագործությունների դեմ պայքարի, ինչպես նաև վիզաների ազատականացման ուղղությամբ համագործակցության հարցեր։
Արփինե Սարգսյանը, որպես ՀՀ-ԵՄ վիզաների ազատականացման գործընթացի Հայաստանի գլխավոր բանակցող, Կառավարության անունից շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Ֆրանսիային ցուցաբերած աջակցության համար։ Նա անդրադարձել է նաև ֆրանսիական ընկերության հետ պետություն–մասնավոր գործընկերության շրջանակում Հայաստանում ներդրվող կենսաչափական համակարգին՝ նշելով, որ համակարգի գործարկումը կմեկնարկի առաջիկա օրերին։
Հանդիպման ավարտին կողմերը պայմանավորվել են շարունակել ակտիվ երկխոսությունն ու ընդլայնել համագործակցության ուղղությունները։
🇦🇲 🇫🇷 Cooperation to Continue Developing, Expanding into New Areas: Minister of Internal Affairs Receives Newly Appointed Ambassador of France to Armenia
On 25 September, Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan received Florian Escudier, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Armenia.
The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment, wished him success, and expressed confidence that the existing close cooperation will continue to develop, encompassing new areas.
The parties underscored the importance of the friendly and strategic relations between Armenia and France.
The parties discussed cooperation in the areas of personnel training, civil protection, combating irregular migration and cybercrime, as well as visa liberalisation.
As Armenia’s Chief Negotiator for the Armenia-EU visa liberalisation process, Arpine Sargsyan, on behalf of the Government, expressed her gratitude to France for its support. She also referred to the biometric system being implemented in Armenia under a public-private partnership with a French company, noting that the system is expected to become operational in the coming days.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their active dialogue and expand areas of cooperation.
