ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանը մայիսի 6-ին ընդունել է ՄԱԿ գլխավոր քարտուղարի օգնական, ՄԱԿ Զարգացման ծրագրի կառավարչի տեղակալ, Եվրոպայի և ԱՊՀ երկրների տարածաշրջանային բյուրոյի տնօրեն Իվանա Ժիվկովիչի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը։
Արփինե Սարգսյանը բարձր գնահատելով երկկողմ արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը՝ շնորհակալություն է հայտնել համատեղ ծրագրերի և գրանցված արդյունքների համար։
Իվանա Ժիվկովիչն իր հերթին կարևորել է ձևավորված սերտ գործընկերությունը՝ ընդգծելով, որ ՆԳ նախարարությունը ՄԱԿ Զարգացման ծրագրի լավագույն գործընկերներից է։
Արփինե Սարգսյանը ներկայացրել է նախարարությունում և ենթակա ծառայություններում իրականացվող բարեփոխումները՝ անդրադառնալով մասնավորապես Քրեական և Համայնքային ոստիկանության ոլորտներին։
Անդրադառնալով Ոստիկանության և ոստիկանության բարեփոխումների հանրային ընկալման հետազոտության արդյունքներին՝ նախարար Սարգսյանը նշել է, որ Ներքին գործերի նախարարության և Ոստիկանության նկատմամբ աճել է քաղաքացիների վստահությունը։ Նա ընդգծել է, որ արձանագրված ցուցանիշները նաև համատեղ արդյունավետ աշխատանքի արդյունք են։
Պատվիրակության անդամները դրական են գնահատել հետազոտության արդյունքներն ու ոլորտում գրանցված առաջընթացը։
Քննարկվել են աղետների ռիսկի կառավարման և ճանապարհային երթևեկության անվտանգության ոլորտներում համագործակցության զարգացման վերաբերյալ հարցեր։ Անդրադարձ է կատարվել ճանապարհային երթևեկության անվտանգության բարձրացման ուղղությամբ իրազեկման ծրագրերին և համատեղ նախաձեռնություններին։
Պայմանավորվածություն է ձեռք բերվել շարունակելու սերտ համագործակցությունը։
Issues of Expanding Cooperation in Disaster Risk Management and Road Traffic Safety Discussed: Minister Sargsyan Receives Ivana Živković
On 6 May, the Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan received the delegation led by Ivana Živković, Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations, Assistant Administrator and Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States at the United Nations Development Programme.
Arpine Sargsyan highly commended the effective bilateral cooperation and expressed gratitude for the joint programmes and the results achieved. Ivana Živković, in turn, highlighted the close partnership established, emphasizing that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is one of the best partners of the United Nations Development Programme.
Arpine Sargsyan presented the reforms being implemented within the Ministry and its subordinate services, with particular reference to Criminal and Community Policing.
Referring to the results of the research on public perception of the Police and police reforms, Minister Sargsyan noted that citizens’ trust in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Police has increased, emphasizing that the recorded indicators are also the result of effective joint cooperation.
The members of the delegation positively assessed the research findings and the progress recorded in the sector.
Issues related to the development of cooperation in disaster risk management and road traffic safety were discussed, with particular attention given to awareness-raising programmes and joint initiatives aimed at enhancing road traffic safety.
An agreement was reached to continue close cooperation.
