Մայիսի 19-ին ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանն ընդունել է Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ գործերի ժամանակավոր հավատարմատար Դեյվիդ Ալենին։
Բարձր գնահատելով ձևավորված սերտ համագործակցությունը՝ Արփինե Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է, որ ժամանակի ընթացքում այն վերաճել է ամուր բարեկամական հարաբերությունների և արձանագրել շոշափելի արդյունքներ։
Քննարկվել են առանցքային մի շարք հարցեր։ Մասնավորապես՝ կողմերն անդրադարձել են կիբեռլաբորատորիայի ստեղծման ընթացքին և արձանագրել, որ առաջիկա օրերին կմեկնարկի լաբորատորիայի տեխնիկական հագեցման և սարքավորումների մատակարարման գործընթացը։
Անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև Քրեական ոստիկանության կարողությունների զարգացմանը, մարդկային ռեսուրսների կառավարման արդյունավետ մեխանիզմների ներդրմանը և կրթական համակարգի կատարելագործմանը վերաբերող հարցերի։
Այդ համատեքստում կարևորվել է ԱՄՆ Արդարադատության դեպարտամենտի ICITAP ծրագրի շրջանակում իրականացվող համագործակցությունը, որի շրջանակում իրականացվում են մասնագիտական կարողությունների զարգացմանն ուղղված միջոցառումներ։
Կրթական ոլորտի զարգացման վերաբերյալ քննարկումների ընթացքում, ի թիվս ոստիկանների և փրկարարների կարողությունների ու հմտությունների զարգացմանն ուղղված ծրագրերի, առանձնահատուկ կարևորվել են նաև սահմանապահների կարողությունների զարգացմանը նպաստող ծրագրերի իրականացումը։
Քննարկվել են նաև Փրկարար ծառայության ենթակառուցվածքների բարելավմանն առնչվող հարցեր։ Մասնավորապես անդրադարձ է կատարվել Եղեգնաձորի և Բաղրամյանի հրշեջ-փրկարարական ջոկատների, ինչպես նաև Սևանի ջրափրկարարական ջոկատի շինարարական և վերազինման աշխատանքների ընթացքին։
Կողմերը վերահաստատել են արդյունավետ գործընկերությունն ընդլայնելու պատրաստակամությունը։
Launch of the Cyber Laboratory Equipment Supply Process: Minister of Internal Affairs Receives the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the United States in Armenia
On 19 May, Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan received David Allen, Chargé d’Affaires, ad interim, of the United States of America to Armenia.
Highly commending the close cooperation established between the parties, Arpine Sargsyan emphasized that over time it has evolved into a strong and friendly partnership and has yielded tangible results.
A number of key issues were discussed. In particular, the parties addressed the progress of the establishment of the cyber laboratory and noted that the process of technically equipping the laboratory and supplying the necessary equipment will commence in the coming days.
The parties also discussed issues related to strengthening the capacities of the Criminal Police, introducing effective human resources management mechanisms, and improving the educational system.
In this context, the cooperation carried out within the framework of the ICITAP programme of the United States Department of Justice was highlighted as particularly important, as it includes measures aimed at strengthening professional capacities.
During the discussions on the development of the educational sector, particular importance was attached, alongside programmes aimed at enhancing the capacities and skills of police officers and rescuers, to the implementation of programmes contributing to the capacity-building of border guards.
Issues related to the improvement of the infrastructure of the Rescue Service were also discussed. In particular, the parties touched upon the progress of the construction and modernisation works of the fire and rescue units in Yeghegnadzor and Baghramyan, as well as the water rescue unit in Sevan.
The parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening and expanding the partnership.
