Վրաստանի վարչապետ Իրակլի Կոբախիձեն հանդիպել է աշխատանքային այցով Վրաստանում գտնվող Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ներքին գործերի նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանին։
Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են երկու երկրների իրավապահ ոլորտների համագործակցության հարցեր։ Ընդգծվել է, որ գործընկերության ամրապնդման և ընդլայնման համար հիմք է Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի ներքին գործերի նախարարությունների միջև ստորագրված Հանցավորության դեմ պայքարի մասին համաձայնագիրը։ Կարևորվել են թմրամիջոցների ապօրինի շրջանառության, անօրինական միգրացիայի և այլ հանցատեսակների դեմ պայքարի ուղղությամբ իրականացված համատեղ ծրագրերը։
Քննարկվել են Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի միջև ռազմավարական գործընկերության խորացման հնարավորությունները։
Անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև տարածաշրջանում ընթացող գործընթացներին։ Իրակլի Կոբախիձեն ընդգծել է, որ Վրաստանը հաստատակամորեն աջակցում է Հարավային Կովկասում խաղաղության և կայունության ամրապնդմանը։
Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են նաև Վրաստանի ներքին գործերի նախարար Սուլխան Թամազաշվիլին, Վրաստանի կառավարության աշխատակազմի ղեկավար Լևան Ժորժոլիանին և Վրաստանում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Աշոտ Սմբատյանը։
The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze Receives Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan
During her working visit to Georgia, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Arpine Sargsyan, was received by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.
During the meeting, issues related to cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries were discussed. It was emphasized that the Agreement on Cooperation in Combating Crime signed between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Armenia and Georgia serves as a basis for strengthening and expanding the partnership.
The joint programmes implemented to combat illicit drug trafficking, illegal migration, and other types of crime were highlighted.
The possibilities for deepening the strategic partnership between Armenia and Georgia were discussed.
The ongoing developments in the region were also addressed. Irakli Kobakhidze emphasized that Georgia firmly supports strengthening peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, the Head of the Administration of the Government of Georgia, Levan Zhorzholiani, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia, Ashot Smbatyan.
