ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանը Բելգիայի Թագավորություն այցի շրջանակում հանդիպել է ԵՄ ներքին գործերի և միգրացիայի հարցերով հանձնակատար Մագնուս Բրունների հետ։
Արփինե Սարգսյանը ԵՄ վիզաների ազատականացման գործընթացում առաջնորդության և կառուցողական ներգրավվածության համար շնորհակալություն հայտնելով Մագնուս Բրուններին՝ ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանը Գործողությունների ծրագրի հենանիշերը որակով և պատշաճ ընթացակարգով իրականացնելու հանձնառություն ունի։
Նախարար Սարգսյանը նշել է, որ Հայաստանում է Գործողությունների ծրագրի կատարողականի ԵՄ գնահատման առաջին առաքելությունը. քննարկվելու են ուղենիշների իրավական և քաղաքականության ապահովմանը վերաբերող հարցեր։
ՆԳ նախարարն անդրադարձել է նաև Գործողութունների ծրագրում նախանշված մի շարք միջոցառումների իրականացմանը, մասնավորապես՝ ներկայացրել է բիոմետրիկ համակարգի ներդրման, առողջության համընդհանուր ապահովագրության և այլ ուղղություններով շոշափելի քայլերը։
Արփինե Սարգսյանը կարևորելով ԵՄ կառույցների՝ Ֆրոնտեքսի և Եվրոպոլի հետ համագործակցությունը՝ նշել է, որ առաջիկայում Եվրոպոլ է ներկայացվելու կապի սպայի թեկնածությունը։
ԵՄ ներքին գործերի և միգրացիայի հարցերով հանձնակատար Մագնուս Բրունները Միգրանտների անօրինական միգրացիայի կազմակերպման դեմ պայքարի գլոբալ դաշինքին միանալու և միջազգային համաժողովում ուղերձով հանդես գալու համար շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանին։
ԵՄ հանձնակատարը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել նախարարին՝ որպես երկրի գլխավոր բանակցող, վիզաների ազատականացման շրջանակներում կառուցողական երկխոսություն ապահովելու համար։
Քննարկվել է 2026 թվականի մարտին Մագնուս Բրունների՝ Հայաստան այցին վերաբերող մանրամասներ։
Ընդգծելով կառուցողական համագործակցությունը՝ Մագնուս Բրունները նշել է, որ անհամբերությամբ սպասում է Հայաստան այցելությանը։
Քննարկվել են նաև փոխադարձ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող հարցեր, շեշտադրվել է արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը շարունակելու երկկողմ հանձնառությունը։
The Ministry of Internal Affairs’ efforts in the visa liberalisation process have been highly commended. The Minister of Internal Affairs met with the EU Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration
Within the framework of her visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan met with the European Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration, Magnus Brunner. Arpine Sargsyan thanked Magnus Brunner for his leadership and constructive engagement in the EU visa liberalisation process and emphasized that Armenia is committed to fulfilling the benchmarks of the Action Plan with high quality and in full compliance with established procedures.
Minister Sargsyan noted that the first EU evaluation mission on the implementation of the Action Plan is currently in Armenia and that issues related to the legal and policy aspects of the benchmarks will be discussed.
The Minister of Internal Affairs also addressed the implementation of a number of measures outlined in the Action Plan, presenting in particular the tangible steps taken toward the introduction of the biometric system, the establishment of universal health insurance, and other related areas.
Arpine Sargsyan, emphasizing the importance of cooperation with EU agencies such as Frontex and Europol, noted that a candidate for the position of Liaison Officer will be submitted to Europol in the near future.
European Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration Magnus Brunner thanked Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan for Armenia’s accession to the Global Alliance to Counter Migrant Smuggling and for delivering a statement at the international conference.
The EU Commissioner expressed gratitude to the Minister, as the country’s chief negotiator, for ensuring constructive dialogue within the framework of the visa liberalisation process. Details were discussed regarding Magnus Brunner’s visit to Armenia, scheduled for March 2026.
Emphasizing the constructive cooperation, Magnus Brunner stated that he is looking forward to his visit to Armenia. Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to continuing effective cooperation.
